Dr. Henry Danziger and Dr. Matthew Kerr are proud to offer dental veneers in Naugatuck, Connecticut, that give you the option of changing your teeth to your satisfaction. Veneers are wafer-thin shells that are bonded to the front surface of your tooth to change its color, size, shape and length. They are a good solution for fixing uneven teeth, and are meant to fix those stubborn teeth that are discolored, worn down, chipped, broken, misaligned, uneven and irregularly shaped. Veneers are made from either porcelain or resin composite materials that are resistant to stains and can be matched to the color of your teeth.

The process of installing the veneer will take up to two visits. The first visit will involve your dentist diagnosing the problems and presenting a treatment plan to fit your needs. Veneers are placed right over your existing tooth, to allow you the comfort and ease of having your natural teeth, but with a look and color that you are satisfied with. In order to prepare the veneer, your doctor will need to shave down your existing tooth enough to fit the veneer tooth over it. After your tooth is filed, they will make impressions of your teeth and send them to a lab to be custom-made for you. After the veneers are made and ready for you, Dr. Danziger or Dr. Kerr will bond the veneer to your tooth by permanently cementing it into place.
