Dentures are removable products that can replace all or just a few of your teeth. This product is made of a pink, gum-like structure that is filled with false teeth. You place the denture into place by putting it on your gums and suctioning the surface to the roof of your mouth. Both complete and partial dentures are great products that fill out your facial features and allow you to have a full-functioning smile.
Dentures might take a little bit of time to get used to, but with a little bit of practice, you will be familiarized with them in no time. We suggest that you begin using the dentures by eating small, soft foods and gradually move up to the foods you would normally eat. We also recommend saying difficult words aloud to help your tongue become trained on how to move with dentures. You may need adjustments. Also, over time your gums may shrink. If so, we recommend coming in for a reline (resurface the tissue side of a denture).
